It's been six years of being actively military adjacent. I have some opinions and feelings about the whole situation. Love my USMC even when they irritate me. Boy do they irritate me a lot. I'm talking about everything from balls to deployments to family day to the [fucking] VA.
11... Reasons I Don't Hate Nicholas Sparks. I'm sure he's lovely, but his writing is crap and formulaic. His settings, however, are idyllic. I do love North Carolina, so we at least have one thing in common.
11... is a new blog series to be published on Mondays, or as many Mondays as I can muster. To be published at 11:11 because it's cute and cliche. Sometimes I like that just not in plots; unless I'm the one writing the plot, then it's original and captivating. The first 11... will be random facts about me because why not?!?
Six years. Three deployments. One homecoming. A week ago, Alex came home from his last deployment.
Swimsuit season is upon us. Although, I live in Southern Texas, so it's upon me ten and a half months of the year. I would love to tell you I'm confident in a bikini... I'd be lying.
