I was hoping for an amazing start to the '20s. Instead a global pandemic arrived two months later, changing the social, economic, cultural, and all the other landscapes of the world. I have never been one for resolutions or goals, but I have hopes for 2021, and I will keep those in mind in the coming days and months.

Christmas Tree Hunting in 2020; A Family Tradition
27 out of 30 years of Christmases, I have had a live Christmas tree that has been cut down by someone adjacent to me. I am dedicated to having one even though I have allergies. Beau loves coming with to help pick one out. This is the first year in our house, and I picked the chonkiest, tallest tree possible. IT'S HUGE!!!

11… Things I Would’ve Done but I’m Working the Election
I had a lot of plans for the last half of October. It was mostly: Get Shit Done. But I decided several months ago to apply to work the election. It went on the schedule. A few days a week turned into half of everyday for all of early voting. Yay! I'm doing my civic duty, but nothing else is going to happen in my life until the election is over.
