Some days are hard days. Beau is a wonderful dog, but she is a rescue. As a rescue, she has a lot of idiosyncrasies. Her anxiety has gotten much better, but some days we end up in the closet just trying to get by.

Race is a complicated issue in the United States. The Color of Law goes a long way to explaining some of the intricacies. I have heard nothing but good things, and I can’t agree more. It serves as a timely reminder as to why voting is so very important.
A Ballerina Halloween
Halloween has never been a holiday I get really excited about. I’ve always viewed it as the gateway holiday to the real party. This year I embraced my past and crazy-dog-mama side to be a ballerina with Beau for Blog + Dog Wednesday!!!
Impeachment
I probably recommend everything Jon Meacham touches. Impeachment is a tiny book jam-packed full of interesting facts about a well known word yet unfamiliar process. There is an under current of the thought that a vote on November 6th is a vote to impeach Trump or not. So go vote!!!
