Pride 2020 has largely gone under the radar because we've been fighting and protesting for Black lives. Pride is still important. Even though the Pride Parade was canceled in Houston and many other places, we put on our own! Much to the amusement of our neighbors.
Today is my Due Date-Versary. Had my body done its basic, biologically female task of staying pregnant five years ago, I would be celebrating my child's fifth birthday. Instead, I'm focusing on the happiness in my life. The joys I have today because I had a miscarriage instead of a baby.
The roaring 20's are here. I'm ready for it. Although, the first 33 days have been anything but a party. Here's to hoping the 3,621 days left have more fun in store for me.
Happy Black History Month!!! I'm doing what I can to open people's minds and break down racism. I don't have a huge platform, but I'll use what I have to make the world a better place for everyone.
Merry Christmas!!! I started a pajama tradition five years ago with my sisters. This year we incorporated our fur babies!!!
Christmas is my favorite season, but then again, it's the time I can go full-RaeAnna on everyone and blame it on my Christmas spirit. I can understand why it's a stressful and anxiety inducing time for so many.
