Story Time! When You Love A Dog... You do whatever it takes to make sure they're loved, safe, and healthy; in return, they love you with their whole entire hearts. Right now, I love more than one dog. I love FIFTEEN dogs. I might be completed exhausted, but I have never felt more loved.
Welcome to the Family. This is not an April Fools' joke. It is real life. Five weeks ago, our lives changed dramatically by a split second decision of mine. A week later, our lives changed even more. Today, we're proud, happy, and tired parents of quite the circus. Dylan, RaeAnna, one rescue dog, a former street dog, and thirteen miracle puppies.
Last week, Beau and I were in New Orleans. She had a blast bonding with my eight year old cousin, trying to poke cats, but mostly walking on the levy. Miraculously, she did not pull my cousin head first into the Mississippi.
Happy adoption day to the light of my life. For as obsessed as I am with Beau, it's shocking I had never made her homemade dog treats.... I did today! They're perfect for Valentine's Day too!
Houston has been having a lot of storms lately, and it's a problem. Beau's anxiety has been through the roof, and that doesn't include the anxiety she's giving me with her refusal to go potty because she hates being wet.
My dog has abandonment issues. Today, I found out they are so strong she will climb a fence because I'm so great two minutes apart is unbearable.
