Last Saturday, Tess celebrated her second birthday with cake and a party hat. She also gave me quite the surprise and made me spend a good chunk of money at the vet to make sure she was okay... Yay... rescues!

11… Wonderful Things That Happened in 2020
Don't get me wrong, 2020 was the worst, but it brought a lot of wonderful things into my life. I'm choosing to look back on the good of last year instead of the atrocious.
11… Hopes for the New Year
I was hoping for an amazing start to the '20s. Instead a global pandemic arrived two months later, changing the social, economic, cultural, and all the other landscapes of the world. I have never been one for resolutions or goals, but I have hopes for 2021, and I will keep those in mind in the coming days and months.

Christmas Tree Hunting in 2020; A Family Tradition
27 out of 30 years of Christmases, I have had a live Christmas tree that has been cut down by someone adjacent to me. I am dedicated to having one even though I have allergies. Beau loves coming with to help pick one out. This is the first year in our house, and I picked the chonkiest, tallest tree possible. IT'S HUGE!!!
