I got to visit Vienna last month. No, I didn't make it to Europe. My Vienna is in Iowa with my best friend. She's in one of eight perfect homes nine of my thirteen puppies found. They are living their best lives, and I couldn't be happier for them.
I pooped my pants today. Not kidding. It's not something we're supposed to talk about, but it's part of my life due to health issues. So it got me thinking about the ways life is being difficult right now.

On Monday, August 10, 2020 a storm swept across the Midwest causing $4 billion in damages that will have economic effects felt around the world. Hundreds of thousands of people were affected, but national media hardly said a word. Iowans have been left behind to pick up, rebuild, find a way through, and wonder why the world didn't care.
